A Malshi, also known as a Mal-Shi, Maltese Shih Tzu, Malt Tzu, and Malti Zu is a hybrid or designer dog that’s a mix between a Maltese and a Shih Tzu. The mating of these two purebred dogs produces what’s known as an F1 generation or an F1 dog. It means that this offspring is the first generation of a hybrid dog.

How much do you feed a Malshi puppy?

A Malshi puppy should consume high-quality puppy food anywhere from ¼ to ½ a cup a couple of times a day, while an adult Malshi should consume ½ a cup a day a few times a day of high-quality adult kibble. It’s always best to check with your veterinarian to see what’s the best diet for your particular dog.
