A Cavapoo (also known as a Cavoodle or Cavadoodle) is a popular designer dog. They make up a mix between a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel and a Poodle. On average, Cavapoo pups will be in the small to medium size range and grow as tall as 9 to 16 inches tall. They can weigh between 9 to 25 pounds and tend to stop growing by the time they turn a year old.

Do Cavapoos shed a lot?

They’re considered a low-shedding dog, and being half-Poodle is handy for your Cavapoo shedding. Typically, they have curly and wavy coats that are often short. With all dogs, some shedding is inevitable. Depending on the breed and the coat will determine the amount of shedding. Both your puppy and adult Cavapoo need to be brushed often, and they need to be groomed every 4 to 6 weeks.

How often do you bathe a Cavapoo?

Keep in mind that this is a companion-bred dog, and as stated previously, separation anxiety can occur because they never want to feel they’re being abandoned, nor do they like to be alone. Cavapoo puppies are fast learners who are easy to train because of their intelligence, which stems from their parental breeds. Are Cavapoos easy to potty train?

Potty training Cavapoo pups isn’t as easy as regular home training because they have to use the bathroom more often due to their small bladders.
